Severe settlement in West Memphis, Arkansas
James H. was trying to sell his West Memphis, Arkansas home, but there were very obvious signs of foundation failure- something that would turn away most buyers. He had his realtor reach out to us for an inspection of what was occurring. Upon inspection, and as can be seen in the photos, there were many different signs of significant settlement which he did contract us to address. Our inspector determined that push piers would be the best solution for this particular home and the type of settlement going on. Specifically, our crew installed 9 push piers around the back of the house, one side, and part of the front of the home. Our piering crew leader determined, based on his expertise the actual spacing needed between the push piers to achieve the best stabilization.  James did contract us to stabilize the home's foundation, but there is an unfortunate and important lesson to be learned about foundation settlement. Foundation issues can be scary, we get it! The last thing you want to do, however, is ignore then and hope for the best. We were able to stabilize this home, but unfortunately, the symptoms had been ignored for so long that stabilizing the home would not also help correct some of the cosmetic damage that had occurred. Any time we work with a homeowner, we are very clear to communicate that we warranty and WILL accomplish stabilization. Once stabilized, we attempt to lift the house back to level. This is the cherry on top, and we do it, because we know that homeowners prefer to not see the cosmetic signs of settlement either. It's not always possible, especially in cases where the settlement was ignored for a really long time, making it detrimental to the home to try and lift back to level.  There are 2 things here: stabilization, which is always the goal, and attempting to lift. We will always stabilize a home and guarantee that. We will attempt to lift it back to level.

Moldy Crawl Space in Crawfordsville, AR
Doug P. noticed that his crawl space was extremely damp. He also suspected that there may be mold. He decided to give Redeemers Group a call and got a free estimate with one of our specialists. They both discovered there was indeed mold forming in the crawl space. One of the main components of the crawl space solution included the installation of the SuperSump® sump pump and the CleanSpace®   System. Both systems are essential to keeping any basement or crawlspace dry. The SuperSump® pump system is specifically designed to handle the amount of water that a basement collects during heavy rains. It can pump 2220 gallons per hour at an 8-foot discharge head quietly and efficiently. The CleanSpace® System separates and protects the crawl space interior from outdoor conditions, keeping the space clean and dry.  With a 25-year warranty against rips and tears, this durable 20-milpoly-reinforced crawl space liner converts your crawl space into a usable storage area. And with its mold-resistant additive "UltraFresh", CleanSpace® will never support mildew or mold growth on its surface. We also installed SaniDry CX Air System to keep humidity low. The SaniDry Sedona offers giant performance in a small package. It's the world's most efficient, high-performance dehumidifier, without a bulky heat exchange core. The Sedona easily fits in small crawl spaces yet has a powerful blower to effectively dry large crawl spaces. Mold and mildew are common in crawl spaces, but the Sedona keeps the relative humidity below 55%, so mold won't stand a chance. As a high-efficiency ENERGY STAR® certified dehumidifier, the Sedona removes more moisture (100 pints per day) for less electricity cost than conventional models. Doug was relieved that his home's crawl space was now completely dry and mold-free.

Unchecked Moisture Lead to a complete reframe of this bathroom!
Don't let this happen to you! When this homeowner first noticed some sagging in his bathroom floors, he sadly chose to ignore it. Eventually, he saw the floor starting to peel away from the wall! When he finally called for help, Redeemers Group rushed over and completed a thorough inspection. Because the moisture levels in the crawl space were too high, the water in the air had caused rotting and mold growth in the crawl space, leading to unsalvageable joists beneath the bathroom floor. To repair the damage, Redeemers Group completed the removal and complete replacement of the wooden joists holding up the bathroom and replaced the subfloors and 5 (!) main beams to make sure this customer's bathroom was going to stand firm for years to come.   Finally, we coated the wood in our LumberKote, a proprietary solution that keeps the lumber strong and unpenetrated by mold, mildew, water, or insects. Water in the air will also be kept under control by a dehumidifier and CleanSpace vapor barrier to fully protect the crawl space, and therefore, the entire home.
Decorated Veteran Has Foundation Redeemed
Charlie D. is a Marine, former POW in Vietnam, and a former Police Lieutenant with a very decorated career of service. His foundation had settled, especially over the past couple of years, and he needed to get this home fixed, and the floors stabilized. Charlie’s family is dealing with some medical difficulties, so the last thing he and his wife need is the extra stress caused by their failing foundation.  At one point, Charlie had his foundation fixed by a "fly by night" contractor. That fix did not help, and he is not impressed with the work he's seen from our competitors. Charlie’s friend who is very particular (like he is) told him to call Redeemers Group as he was satisfied with our work. We were able to go in and use our interior slab piers to lift the foundation up 1.25 inches.  These are installed by cutting holes into the slab inside the home.  Then the piers are driven down into the soil until they reach load bearing strata, also referred to as bedrock.  Those piers are then attached to the foundation and pressurized.  This pushes the foundation up, lifting it back into position.  After that, we filled the voids caused by lifting the house with our PolyLevel concrete injection system. This will ensure permanent stabilization.  With this stressful issue behind them, Charlie and his wife can now spend their time and energy focusing on getting well. That is what they deserve. We thank Charlie for his decades of service and sacrifice and are sending thoughts, prayers, and positive energy to his family.
Foundation Issues in Okolona, MS
Richard F. noticed that there were cracks in his home. He knew that this was a foundation issue and gave Redeemers Group a call. We were able to offer Richard an effective solution to this issue. To solve the foundation settlement issue, Redeemers Group installed slab piers and performed a lift procedure on the home. Piers can solve settlement problems by transferring a structure's weight to strong, competent supporting soils at greater depth. Piers can effectively stabilize a settling structure and can even provide jacking points to lift the structure upwards to its original, level position. We also installed the PolyLevel® system which uses high-density polyurethane expanding foam to raise settled concrete foundations and slabs. The state-of-the-art polymer injection is a fast-acting, affordable alternative to mudjacking and concrete slab replacement. Installers use specially-designed equipment to inject structural-grade polymer into penny-sized holes bored in the slab. After the void underneath the concrete slab is filled, the expanding foam will lift and level the slab. PolyLevel® is a quick-curing solution and the polymer is waterproof and will never wash away.
Concrete Leveling and Concrete Repair in Hernando, MS
Janna B. of Hernando, MS was having a few concrete issues. Her driveway was cracking and was not stable.  Janna planned to retire and move into her vacation home within the next few years, but first, she needed to be sure that the driveway problems were permanently solved.  Janna relied on Google to help find a reliable contractor to help her.  That’s where she discovered Redeemers Group. Janna was greeted by our Inspector Matt, who went out to Hernando to provide her with a thorough, no-cost inspection.  Matt showed her the problems and explained how his team could permanently solve them with concrete leveling and concrete repair options.  Janna was excited about the solution and scheduled the job. Concrete leveling and repair experts Jacob and Brennen were brought in to tackle the problem.  They injected PolyLevelTM under the concrete to stabilize and level it.  Then they repaired all the cracks with our NexusProTM Crack Repair System.  To fully protect from future damage, they sealed all the joints using NexusProTM Joint Sealant. Janna was thrilled with the results and Redeemers Group was thrilled to have delivered the experience our customers deserve!  She can rest assured that her concrete issues are over she can have a stress-free retirement.
Rainfall made this crawl space dangerous and flooded
This customer knew that rain was a problem for her home, but until she asked Redeemers group, a local crawl space specialist, to come look, she did not know HOW much of a problem it really was.   The rainwater intrusion was very significant; it cause not only flooding in the crawl space, but also would lead to wood rot, which in turn was causing her floor joists, main beam and subfloor to fail. All hope was not lost, however. After our System Design Specialist diagnosed the problem, our Crawl Space team rolled out and install a sump pump, drainage system, and smart pipe to guard the crawl space against water getting into and staying in the crawl space. Then, we full encapsulated the crawl space, and installed a de-humidifier,  which meant we would stop moisture from getting into the air and rotting the wood in the crawl space!
Foundation Repair for Peace of Mind in Oxford, MS
Betty T. of Oxford, MS was frustrated with her concrete slab foundation issues.  Her home was only 2 years old when she began to experience foundation troubles.  Her home was built on uneven ground with tree roots and debris underneath the slab.  This meant failing soil, a settling foundation, a sunken room, and windows and doors that could not function.  The windows and doors were a major concern for Betty because of her daughter with special needs.  Betty needed reassurance that all doors and windows functioned properly in case of emergency. What’s worse?  She trusted another company to fix her foundation issues and this work, which was guaranteed, failed.  When she tried to get the company to honor the guarantee, she discovered that they are now out of business.  Luckily, she found Redeemers Group. Ryan, one of our Inspectors, went to visit Betty with two things in mind. First, he wanted to fully and permanently resolve her foundation issues and give Betty the peace of mind she deserved.  Next, he wanted to redefine Betty’s experience while dealing with a contractor and show her that honesty, integrity, and compassion still exist in our business.  After Ryan walked her through the solution and all processes involved, Betty agreed with the findings, and the work was set to begin. It was now up to Chet and his crew, who were tasked with handling this foundation project.  They installed our Push Pier system in order to stabilize the sinking room.  Not only was this the most effective solution, but it is also permanent.  Push Piers offer the much-needed stabilization without further disturbing the soil.  Along with the Push Piers, the crew used our PolyLevelTM system.  Injecting PolyLevelTM underneath the concrete works to fill voids and stabilize the foundation in places where piers cannot go.  PolyLevelTM was also used to level her concrete patio.   It is jobs like this that reinforce the Redeemers Group mission: to redefine.  Betty was let down by a few poor contractors who did subpar work and left her frightened about the well-being of her daughter.  We are proud to have been there for Betty and to make sure that her home is safe, and her foundation is secure.
