Kendall M. of Michie, TN is a retired Army Ranger and Postmaster who has lived in his home for 19 years. He has noticed over the past few years that the floors in the back wing of the house are sagging and bouncy. He has also noticed cracks on the walls and every door frame. He wants a nice home to leave to his son and knows these foundation problems will only get worse with time.

Crawl space repair specialist Wade went out to Michie to inspect Kendall’s home.  He found significant wood rot and broken joists in the crawlspace, especially in the bathroom area.  This is due to excess moisture and water intruding into the crawl space.  Wade designed a permanent solution for Kendall and the work was set to begin.

Justin, our crawl space repair expert, was tasked with completing this project.  This was a daunting task because the house was old, and some odd additions were added to it over time.  Justin and crew began by removing all the old and rotted wood.  They replaced the main beam running through the house.  They also needed to replace some of the rim bands and joists. Finally, the subfloors in the affected areas were replaced.

Kendall is thrilled with the results.  He knows that with this permanent solution, his home and its property value are secure.  He is confident that he is leaving his son a nice home with a solid foundation.  We at Redeemers Group are proud to have given Kendall the peace of mind that he deserves.
