Snakes Falling from the Sky!
It’s not every day our crew sees snakes falling from the sky!! Lead foreman Kiel Davis sent a picture of a snake and told us he’s never seen his crew member Antonio move as fast as he did when it fell out of the floor joists!! The snake was taken care of, and no one on our team was injured! It sure gave the crew a good laugh, or for Antonio, a good scare!!
PolyLEVEL Art!!
Foreman Shane Garrett messaged our whole team in our Slack messages after one of his jobsites! He was so proud of the PolyLEVEL job he had just completed, which was a void fill of 5 feet long and 1 and a half deep!! He captioned these pictures "Poly Art". We love when our foreman get excited about their work and want to show it off to the rest of the team. You go Shane!!
Reasons Why Women Statistically Live Longer than Men
Foreman Shane Garrett shared some jobsite pictures with everyone, showing himself crawling completely under a driveway! He captioned it “winter is coming”, due to the FREEZING temperatures that Memphis has been experiencing. Shane completed a PolyLEVEL job on the driveway, but not without a few laughs from the team!! Foreman Dylan and Production Manager Ty also joined in on the fun, claiming that crawling under a concrete driveway that could collapse at any given minute, is why women statistically live longer than men.
A New Crawl Space Entry Door System Installed in Menphis TN
Erin from Memphis TN, who was referred to Redeemers Group, gave us a call to set up a free on-site estimate. She needed a new exterier entrance door for her crawl space. Our system design specialist Jay went out to her home and gave her a proposal for our Turtl Crawl Space Door and Entry System. Our installation team installed The Turtl, which will protect her crawl space from getting wet, and will not let any critters in.
Foundation Settlement in Memphis, TN
Amalie B. had noticed cracked foundation and doors and windows that were not closing. She also noticed that the floor was settling on the west side of the home. Amalie tried to search for solutions to this problem, but nothing seemed to work. Redeemers Group was more than happy to help her, and her family resolve this issue. To solve their foundation settlement issue, Redeemers Group installed slab piers and performed a lift procedure on the home. Piers can solve settlement problems by transferring a structure's weight to strong, competent supporting soils at greater depth. Piers can effectively stabilize a settling structure and can even provide jacking points to lift the structure upwards to its original, level position. Now, Amalie will be able to enjoy her home knowing that their foundation issues are repaired.
Redeemers Group Helps with Dirty Crawl Space
Scott B. gave Redeemers Group a call to examine his home's crawl space. Our specialist noticed that the crawl space was extremely moist and dirty. This type of issue is a definite breeding ground for mold. Fortunately, we were able to get this issue resolved for this family before the issue worsened.  One of the main components of the crawl space solution included the installation of the Smart Jack System and the CleanSpace® System. This system is essential to keeping any basement or crawlspace dry. The SuperSump® pump system is specifically designed to handle the amount of water that a basement collects during heavy rains. It can pump 2220 gallons per hour at an 8-foot discharge head quietly and efficiently. The CleanSpace® System separates and protects the crawl space interior from outdoor conditions, keeping the space clean and dry.  With a 25-year warranty against rips and tears, this durable 20-milpoly-reinforced crawl space liner converts your crawl space into a usable storage area. And with its mold-resistant additive "UltraFresh", CleanSpace® will never support mildew or mold growth on its surface.
Crawlspace Encapsulation and Push Pier Installation in East Memphis
This job story is a two- for- one!! After Stacey B. noticed the steel plate, which her back porch sits upon, had been settling, she decided to give Redeemers Group a call. After a thorough inspection had been completed, the inspector noticed that the front left and back corners of the house were also settling, with the concrete under the porch settling as well. Redeemers Group was more than happy to help and decided the best plan of action would be to encapsulate the dirty, moldy, basement, then complete the foundation work. The Redeemers started with a CleanSpace crawlspace encapsulation. The CleanSpace® Crawl Space Encapsulation System addresses each of the main threats to a crawl space: outside air, excess moisture, water, mold, and pests. The next step was the installation of Push Piers. Push piers lift and stabilize commercial foundations to provide a permanent solution. The Push Pier System utilizes high-strength round steel tubes and a load transfer bracket (retrofit foundation repair bracket) to stabilize and/or lift sinking or settling foundations. The foundation bracket is secured against the existing footing and pier sections are driven hydraulically through the foundation bracket and into the soil below using the combined structural weight and any contributory soil load as resistance. Pier sections are continuously driven until a suitable load-bearing stratum is encountered. At that point, the structure either begins to lift or the target pressure/load is achieved. After speaking with Jed, the lead foreman on the job, I was informed that if you were to enter the interior of the house, you could physically feel the house sloping down. As you would walk across the home, you would go almost downhill, which is a very noticeable problem. The Redeemers were able to complete both aspects of the job, both the crawlspace encapsulation and the push pier installation, without a hitch!! Stacey B. can now rest easy in her home!!!

Back in August, Deric N. of Memphis, TN, called the Redeemers Group when he noticed water was seeping through the corner wall in his basement. He layered up towels on the floor until the problem just became too large for just towels to fix. We sent one of our System Design Specialists to complete a 100% free home inspection, and it was decided that the best solution to this problem would be to waterproof the basement. Lead foreman Kiel Davis was in charge of this job. After the job was started, it was discovered that the wall and sheetrock were completely soaked, and if left, would cause mold and future problems for the homeowner. Kiel and his team completely redefined this customer’s experience with Redeemers Group. He turned increasingly depressing news into a REDEFINED situation. Redeemers Group removed the water damaged wall and replaced it with a brand-new wall. Kiel came back to the office and was so excited to tell the team how he redefined this customers experience!! Take a look at these amazing pictures!!
Foundation Stabilized and Ready for Remodel in Memphis, TN
Krishun K. of Memphis, TN has lived in his house for 10 years.  He decided to do some remodeling but is doing the work home piece by piece to spread the cost over time.  He has big plans for the house like replacing windows and adding a garage in the back. He needs to bring things up to code but will be taking it a step at a time. He is adding a shower in the bathroom and wanted to make sure that the floors were level before adding it. Foundation repair specialist Leon went to the home to perform a thorough inspection.  He found this house to  have a basement and crawl space combo.  The area of concern is in the basement where the wall above was unsupported until the homeowner and his uncle placed supports.  Leon was able to diagnose the problem and design a permanent solution for Krishun. It was time for foundation settlement expert Cade and crew to get to work.  They used our SmartJacks™ crawl space support jacks to tackle this issue. 4 SmartJacks™ were used in total.  Paired with supplemental beams where needed, this system permanently stabilized the foundation in those areas.  Krishun can install his new shower without worry and continue to remodel his house to make it the home he always wanted.
Dirty Crawl Space in Walnut Ridge, AR
Greg N. decided to check under his home and discovered that his crawl space was flooding. He gave Redeemers Group a call and we were more than happy to help resolve this crawl space issue. The resolution to this issue was the SmartPipe™ Crawl Space Drainage System. Its custom design includes holes on the top and front to accept water from the soil and surface of your crawl space. A special wall flange collects water from the crawl space walls and the footing/wall joint. A SmartPipe™ system installs quickly- usually in a day or less. When we send a crew to encapsulate your crawl space, one worker can be installing your drain while the others install the rest of your crawl space system. The SmartPipe™ is the ideal way to drain water in a dirt crawl space without clogging or drain failure. All openings facing the dirt surface of your crawl space include a special filter fabric material, designed to allow water in while keeping mud and other clogging debris away.
