Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Restoration in Memphis, TN
Skip H. of Memphis, TN was having a crawl space problem. As you can see by the photos, his situation was dire. His crawl space is an example of near worst case scenario when it comes to moisture damage. His joists were moldy. They had mildew and in turn, had rotted out. His bathroom floor was literally caving in. Skip knew that this problem would only get worse, so he called Redeemers Group.
Concrete repair expert Shawn and crew were tasked with this project. There first job was to get rid of all the old and rotted wood. Then they needed to replace the old joists and subfloors with new wood. Next, it was time to install our SmartJacks crawl space support jacks. This is done by digging a hole measuring 2 feet wide, 2 feet long, and 2 feet deep. This hole is filled with gravel to create a stable foundation for the support jacks to sit on. After the SmartJacks were installed, LumberKote wood sealant was applied to all the wood to protect it from future moisture damage.
