Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Amazing Crawl Space Repair in North Little Rock, AR

Jeni H. of North Little Rock recently purchased a home and needed to make some repairs, including new flooring.  But to make that happen, she had to address the moisture beneath the home.  Excess moisture was a problem, even in the dry months of summer.  This caused Jeni’s foundation to become unstable and caused some of the wood supporting the home to rot and break.  This made for some bouncy floors.  She called Redeemers Group and Spencer, our crawl space specialist, went out to North Little Rock to inspect and design a permanent solution for Jeni. Spencer designed a solution that included our SmartJacks crawl space support jacks and a full crawl space encapsulation with our CleanSpace system.  This solution addresses both the moisture issue, and the foundation support problems.  Spencer also recommended new joists and subfloors under the bathroom. Jeni knew that this was the right solution and was excited to get started. Crawl space experts Shawn and Brian were tasked with completing this project.  They started by installing the SmartJacks system to stabilize the home.  Then they installed our SmartSump to rid the crawl space of excess water.  Next, they laid down the drainage matting.  They used our CleanSpace barrier to wrap the piers and SmartJacks, as well as cover the floor.  This stops water from permeating the walls and entering the crawl space. SilverGlo was used to insulate the walls.  This will have a positive affect on Jeni’s utility bills.  A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to keep the air in the space clean and dry.  To cap the project off, a new entry door was built for easier access to the space.
