Moldy and damp crawl space in Hernando MS
Challenge
This crawlspace in Hernando, MS was in need of our help. This space was full of moisture, and because of the damp air, mold began to grow throughout the crawlspace (as seen in photos). This is a very serious issue. Mold releases airborne spores that float through out the air, and those spores can be bad for ones health. Solution
The production team went to work and installed CleanSpace Liner and a SaniDry CX dehumidifier. The SaniDry dehumidifier takes up to 100 pints of water per day out of your crawl space air, while using the same energy as a 40 pint dehumidifier. The SaniDry does a great job of making sure the air in the crawl space stays dry. Click here to read about why that is important.
An Everlast Crawl Space Door was installed along with a SmartDrain pump. Push Piers also got installed to support the foundation and SmartJack supports where installed to support the floor joist system above. For more information on crawl space repair Click Here.
