Crawl Space Stabilization and Protection in Bells, TN

Challenge

Customer has had many companies come out and ALL have said different things. One company said his beam in the middle is not leveled but he has not seen it with a leveler. He has noticed cracking by the back door, and a staircase cracking on the front exterior of the home. They want to make sure the crawlspace is taken care of, stabilizing the floors and dealing with the moisture.

Solution

We installed smart jacks under the east wall of the hallway, as close as we can get them to the main beam to stabilize the area. This will stop the floors from bouncing and sagging. We also sprayed Lumberkote in the entire crawlspace. This will provide permanent moisture protection for the wood in the crawl space.
