Concrete Repair Photo Album: Trench Drain, EZ Flow and NexusPro in Oxford, MS!

Richard G. of Oxford, MS called Redeemers Group in October due to problems he was facing in his driveway! The driveway is relatively steep as well as long. There was runoff undermining the driveway in several locations. This undermining was causing the driveway to crack and sink. Richard became aware that the undermining would only continue to damage the driveway. That’s when Redeemers came to help! The first step was to raise the driveway back up with a PolyLEVEL installation. Then the crew filled in all the cracks, so they wouldn’t spread, as well as making the driveway’s cosmetic appeal greater. To fix the undermining issues, Redeemers installed a Trench Drain accompanied with EZ Flow to drain the water from the driveway, so it won’t undermine the soil underneath! As you can see in these before pictures, the water that was left to sit, instead of being drained, had caused extreme undermining. This undermining went on to cause further damage, the sinking of the concrete slab, causing uneven slabs and a trip hazard.

As you can see, the undermining also caused extreme cracks in the slabs, due to the settling of the slab and no support underneath.

These home owners had no real drainage system in place other than rocks near the end to try and prevent further erosion.
