Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Complete Basement Waterproofing in Nettleton, MS Ensures Long-Term Protection
In August 2024, we helped Dan and Jane of Nettleton, MS protect one corner of their basement with a professional waterproofing system. When heavy rains rolled through a few months later, the newly treated area remained completely dry—but unfortunately, water began intruding into the unprotected side of the basement. Wanting a permanent solution, Dan and Jane called us back to extend waterproofing across the entire basement perimeter, ensuring peace of mind for years to come.
To complete the project, we tied into the existing two-stage drainage system previously installed, continuing it seamlessly around the remaining perimeter. A key challenge involved removing a block support column to allow the system to wrap around a corner. We provided temporary structural support beneath a steel I-beam while removing the column, and then replaced it with a durable XT SmartJack for enhanced stability. As requested by the homeowner, we performed precision saw cuts in the concrete for a clean, finished appearance—just like in the original section.
During installation, we coordinated the temporary disconnection of a waterline and water heater to allow for concrete cutting near the HVAC system. Dan and Jane were well-informed of the process and prepared for the temporary mess, knowing the result would be a fully protected, dry basement. If you’re facing water intrusion in your basement, don’t wait—contact us today for a long-lasting waterproofing solution tailored to your home. Protect your foundation before the next storm hits.
