Photo Album: Stone Wall Repair in Hot Springs National Park, AR
Sometimes at Redeemers Group, we are contacted by customers with very unique problems. These challenges call for very unique solutions. Smokey C. of Hot Springs Village National Park, AR is a perfect example of this. Smokey lives on a beautiful waterfront property, with a walkway along the water on top of the seawall. The concrete was sinking in some parts and had become uneven. This presented a tripping hazard next to the water. Needless to say, this was very dangerous. On top of that, the seawall itself had begun to crack and bow out a bit. Smokey wanted to secure the wall and level the concrete.
Tommy and Chet, our concrete and block wall specialists were task with this large and challenging project. First, Tommy used our PloyLevelTM system to lift and level all of the uneven concrete around the property. He then used NexusProTM to fill all cracks and joints in the concrete, protecting it from future damage. After Tommy was finished, it was on to Chet and crew for the challenging part. Chet used our GeoLockTM system to anchor the wall. This is done by digging holes in the ground away from the wall, where our Earth Anchors would sit. Then, holes are drilled into the wall and all the way to those holes in the ground. Next, rods are run from the wall and connected to the Earth Anchors in the ground. Finally, the rods are connected to C-Channels that are fastened to the wall. This system anchors the wall to the earth, providing permanent stability and support. Finally, the holes are filled, and the work is done!
