Redeemers Group on AM990 KWAM Radio Interview
Clint Cooper, owner of Redeemers Group, was recently featured on AM990 KWAM, "The New Voice Of Memphis”, where he discussed numerous problems in homes within his company’s service area of west Tennessee, Arkansas, and the top half of Mississippi. Typical problems that occur in these homes include moisture and mold issues in the basement, as well as moisture and rotting wood in the crawl space. One of the more serious issues that Clint has been seeing more and more of recently is foundation cracking and foundation failure due to the drought that has struck the area.
During a drought, the soil underneath a home dries out, shifts, and begins sinking into the ground. Homeowners need to be able to recognize the signs that their foundation is in trouble, such as: sticking windows and doors, uneven floors, sagging crawl spaces, and wall cracks. Though Clint points out that foundation cracks could just be a compression issue, the situation should not be taken lightly and should be addressed immediately when noticed by a homeowner.
Now that drought conditions are starting to improve, this is the perfect time to check for weather-related issues in and around your home. Moisture and foundation issues are major red flags and should be addressed immediately! If you are suffering from any of the issues described above, contact Clint Cooper’s Redeemers Group to get a free estimate.
