Supporting their spring production of Curtains! The Musical.
Adding in the autumnal awesomeness, Houston High’s theatre program has organized some fall festivities of their own to raise money to purchase equipment and costumes for their upcoming spring production of Curtains! the Musical.
On October 21st, the exterior of the HHS building will be transformed from typicality into a fantastic Fall Bazaar, complete with shopping, eating, and entertainment. There will be a variety of booths with vendors selling handmade specialty items, and the extremely talented members of the theatre department will perform. Parents can take time to shop while their kids enjoy a special fun-zone with inflatables, games, and face-painting, and baked goods will also be available for purchase along with a slew of options from local food trucks.
“We wanted a celebration of the arts that also acts as a fundraiser for the arts,” said Houston High theatre teacher Kell Christie when describing the event and its purpose.
