Clint Cooper wins Executive of the Year Honor from The Memphis Business Journal
On May 18th, many of the brightest small business minds of the Mid-south joined together for the annual Memphis Business Journal Small Business Awards. Each year they award 4 total awards: Business of the Year in the small, medium, and large categories by number of employees, and Executive of the Year. Last year, Redeemers Group was recognized as a Finalist in the Small Business of the Year category. This year, we were thrilled to have Clint Cooper, owner of Redeemers Group, be recognized as Executive of the Year out of roughly 17,000 Memphis companies.
During his acceptance speech, he chose to focus on the quality of people that make up the Redeemers Group team. “This is a little bit of a misnomer, because this doesn’t happen without having really smart and competent people doing what they do every day to create remarkable experiences for our customers,” he said. He went on to talk about what led to being an entrepreneur originally to which he shared “I was too dumb to know that I could fail.”
Redeemers Group has been recognized quite a bit over the last year for our tremendous growth. In addition to the awards already referenced, the company was also named the 3rd fastest growing company in the mid-south by The Memphis Business Journal in 2016 for growth from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, Redeemers Group was also recognized by Supportworks and Basement Systems separately as top dealers within those 2 networks. We are thoroughly honored for every recognition that comes our way as we navigate delivering remarkable experiences and challenging the status quo.
