Team members recognized at company Christmas party
Our team gathered on 12/1 for our annual Christmas celebration. 60 team members, spouses, and significant others came to Germantown Country Club for dinner, awards, and a look back on what the year has brought.
2016 has been an exciting year for our team. We have been given another year of amazing growth. We show no signs of slowing down now.
2016 HOPE Award:
The HOPE award stands for "harboring optimism produces excellence." The recipient is a team member who rolls with the punches with the every day ups and downs. She works to create a remarkable experience for every customer she comes in contact with, something that can be difficult to do when you navigate roughly 55 new customers every month in addition to taking care of all past customers. We are very proud of what Angel Malburg brings to our team. We couldn't do it without her or her infectious smile!
2016 GROW award:
Mr. Philip King! The GROW award is for a team member that has been an excellent student of their work; fully accomplishing the tasks required and with great proficiency. Philip exceeds that description by far. The work and care Philip takes for his customers is simply amazing. Not only is he a true expert of fixing structural issues, Philip understands every detail of what it takes to create remarkable experiences for his customers. In his role, Philip sets the example for the entire production department on all aspects of what needs to be accomplished. Here's to many more Philip!
2016 Most Improved:
The Most Improved award goes to the team member that the management team believes has progressed the most in their roll from when they started to present day. While every team member works hard throughout the year to grow in their role, we had a unanimous vote on our MIP for 2016. Zach Cooper was recognized for his work in 2016, moving from a crew member to co-foreman. Zach has worked tirelessly to improve both his technical skills and his customer interaction skills. He moved from approaching work as a paycheck to redefining what work means. Zach is an extremely valued asset on our production team, and we couldn't imagine being without him. Congrats, Zach!
2016 Rising Star:
The Rising Star award goes to the employee that the management team unanimously believes is a leader in their department. He/She is someone who consistently aims to perform at a high level and push their team members to do so as well. The 2016 Rising Star has been awarded to Wes Cordell. Wes joined our team in 2016 as a new System Design Specialist. He has quickly become the leader of the System Design Specialist team. He sets the pace on all aspects of working with customers. He designs solutions that are appropriate for his customers, and sets his production team members up for success when they go to execute the job. His attitude towards the company's shifts and changes since he has been here is exactly what we need from our team members. Keep redefining, Wes!
WOW Service Crew:
The WOW Service Award goes to the crew that had the most positive customer reviews in 2016. Crew leader, Philip King, and his crew of Danny Wilkins and Rafael Taylor were the clear winners. Philip and his crew work tirelessly to achieve the goals for each project, and WOW customers every step of the way. We couldn't be prouder to have this crew as a part of our team.
