Redeemers Group joins with the community to LOVE MEMPHIS WELL with 1st annual Love Well 5k & Festival
On 7/23, hundreds of people joined us for the first annual Love Well 5k and Festival! Mother Nature was kind to us, cooling the temps a little bit so we could enjoy race morning with a tad, but only a tad, less sweat. The day started off early with festival vendors setting up at 6am to be ready for the early bird race-day registrations that started coming through around 7:45 am.
Festival vendors included Redeemers Group, Jamie Dunham art, Scentsy by Barbara Baldwin, Orphanos, Mike Rutter jewelry, Advocare by Erin and Isaiah Bell, Memhis FitKids, Memphis Fitness Kickboxing, The Old Path Homeless Shelter for women and children, Servicemaster by Cornerstone and Bath Fitter. Food vendors included Mem Pops, the Eat with Eric food truck, and the Twisted Sister food truck.
The 2016 event benefitted the Old Path Homeless Shelter for women and children, putting the spotlight on an organization that is working hard to love Memphis well. The Shelter not only provides a roof over the heads of these women and children, but they walk alongside them to help them a find permanent residence and employment.
