Water standing under the house. Need to redirect water flowing under deck. Down spout drains need to be buried.

Basement is about 4 1/2 years old. We have water seeping in on back wall after a heavy rain. Might possibly have a spring in yard that might contribute to this? My opinion is that water backs up from back yard with little slope under concrete patio and basement floor in the wet season when the water gets to the back wall it has no place to go and comes out where wall meets floor. We do have a french drain installed when basement was built. We live on a lake.

I just wish the person heading the work crew would have come on the last day to explain the system, how it works and what to expect.

He did not show and I was told that someone would be present to go over the system and how it worked but that didn't happen. I had to call the company to get this information. It would have saved me from worry and concern.
