Joel J. of Somerville, TN recently bought this home and wanted to remodel.  He noticed a bounce floor and wondered if the structure was properly supported.  He was worried because he didn't know if work could be done in his crawl space.  The was not very much space under there.  He decided to go to google for answers. That's where he discovered Redeemers Group. We are under contract for this home and had our inspection completed today. The inspector mentioned some rotten wood near the entrance of the crawl space, improper building practices where the supports do not reach the top, and the inspector was not able to search the whole crawl space. We have beautiful pine board flooring throughout our home. The bottom floor boards are cupping. After doing a little research, it seems this may be caused from excess moisture in our crawl space. We purchased an older house in September of 2016. When we originally purchased it we knew that the 'sun' room had a pretty solid grade to it. However, at the time we didn't notice that the adjoining bathroom also was grading down.
