Foundation Repair Photo Album: Interior Foundation Repair in Nesbit, MS
Wayne H. of Nesbit, MS, had been living in his home for 23 years when he faced a series of structural issues that required immediate attention. A vehicle collision had severely damaged the west wall of the house, while a persistent water leak in the master bathroom floor worsened the existing foundation concerns. Built in 1991 on a slab-on-fill foundation, the home had begun to settle, leading to structural instability that affected multiple areas, including the master bedroom, closet, bathroom, living room, front porch, and walkway. Recognizing the urgency of these issues, Wayne sought a lasting foundation repair solution.
To restore the home's stability, we installed 13 slab piers strategically placed to address the most affected areas. Three piers were placed in the master bathroom, three in the closet, and three in the master bedroom to counteract the settlement in the private living spaces. Four additional piers were installed in the living room to reinforce one of the most structurally impacted areas. The front porch and walkway were also repaired to ensure a safe and even surface. Additionally, the homeowners needed assistance moving a large entertainment display in the living room, which we accommodated, ensuring a smooth process for them. Future plans may include injecting polyurethane under the slab to further strengthen the foundation.
