Improper Drainage Causes Foundation Settlement in Shelby, MS
Challenge
Joe has owned this property for 13 years. He previously had it rented out and he noticed over the years that there were some problems beginning to arise. There is visible evidence indicating where water runs right along the back of the house. This is causing the foundation to settle and sink into the soil. There are no gutters which seems to be exacerbating the problem. He is in the home improvement industry and would like to turn this property into his office. He regrets not taking care of the foundation problems sooner.
Solution
Our push piers system is the best solution to fix this problem. 12 piers across the back and wrapping the corners of the house would completely eliminate the potential for further settlement. Of course lifting the building back into place will cause a void beneath.
