Love Well 5K & Festival Returns to Memphis, TN to Support Local Opioid Recovery Center

Memphis, TN – June 6, 2024 – The Love Well Initiative is proud to announce the return of the annual Love Well 5K & Festival, a community-driven event aimed at supporting local organizations at the heart of healing our city. The 5k & Fest are scheduled to take place on June 22nd, near the Semmes Murphey Clinic, in Memphis, TN.
In its 8th year, the Love Well 5K & Festival stands as a beacon of hope and unity in the Memphis community. This year, the event pledges its support to a crucial cause – aiding local efforts in combating opioid addiction and supporting individuals on their journey to recovery. The proceeds from the race and festival will directly benefit a local opioid recovery organization, Serenity Recovery Centers, which works tirelessly to provide vital resources, support services, and assistance to individuals and families affected by addiction.
The Love Well 5K, the cornerstone of the event, invites participants of all ages and fitness levels to join together for a morning of fitness, camaraderie, and solidarity. This year's route, winding through the vibrant Greenline of Shelby Farms, symbolizes the path toward healing and recovery, highlighting the importance of community support in overcoming challenges.
Following the 5K, the Love Well Festival will commence, offering a diverse array of activities, entertainment, and opportunities for engagement. From live music and interactive wellness workshops and local artisan vendors, the festival promises something for everyone to enjoy.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses and organizations looking to demonstrate their commitment to community wellness and social responsibility.  There are even some spots still open for vendors who wish to set up booths to sell their wares and services at the festival.
