Photo Album: Crawl Space Stabilized and Protected in Amory, MS

Austin and Laura S. of Amory, MS purchased this home just over a year ago with the intention of fixing it up and selling it. They were aware of a little bowing in the floor by the front door, but shortly after moving in they noticed the floor in the kitchen starting to settle. Not long after that, the floor in the hall in front of the bathroom starting to settle as well. Eventually the bathroom door started getting harder to open and close. They needed to address the issues, but at the lowest price possible. They initially had a competitor come out to give them a proposal, but they came back with an over-the-top solution including replacing all the joists and subflooring. This was completely out of reach for the couple. Christian, our crawl space foundation specialist went out to perform a detailed inspection. it he found that most of the joists and the subfloor still have enough stability to save.  He designed a cost effective, permanent solution for them, and the project date was set. Crawl space foundation repair expert Justin and crew were tasked with this project.  They installed our SmartJacks™ support system to stabilize the sagging areas. They also applied our LumberKote™ wood sealant to all the joists and subfloors to protect them from future damage caused by moisture.
