Love Memphis Well Rescue Adoption Event
Coming September 15th, Redeemers Group is hosting our first ever Love Memphis Well Rescue Adoption event, and we are SO excited!! This event will be on September 15th, 2018, from 11 am to 1pm at Overton Park in Memphis, TN. The event will include two rescue groups, Wilson Animal Rescue and Real Good Dog.
Wilson Animal Rescue is a 100% volunteer-run, foster-based rescue group in Memphis, Tennessee. They focus on rescuing dogs who are in danger of being euthanized at the city's run shelter and other mid-south shelters. Real Good Dog Rescue was founded in 2004 by Lisa Trenthem, Real Good Dog Rescue ‘s goal is to reduce the number of animals euthanized in area shelters, primarily the Memphis Animal Shelter. RGDR utilizes a team of volunteers who foster animals while they await their new families and forever homes. Wilson Animal Rescue will be accepting small and medium collars, puppy food, puppy pads, and toys (items needed for the rescue). Real Good Dog Rescue will be the recipients of any monetary donations. Both rescues will have adoptable dogs at the event, so we hope attendees will be able to give a few pups some forever homes!!
Hayden’s Grill, a local food truck, will also be at the event. They will be donating a portion of profits to the rescue groups as well to any monetary donations attendees provide.
